Oia hotels

The hotels in Oia are considered to be the most privileged all over Santorini. Even though the caldera buildings were seriously damaged in 1956 due to the earthquake, new buildings wre erected again at the same position given that the view they offer is incomparable.

What makes Oia hotels unique is firstly the view and secondly their architectural style. As far as the view is concerned, given that Oia is located to the northwest of Santorini island, some of the hotels have been built along the north coast thus facing the Aegean Sea and others are built to the west, opposite Thirasia island.

Yet, in most cases guests can enjoy swimming in smaller pools or Jacuzzi tabs just at the edge of the caldera cliff while enjoying the spectacular view.
